Since the birth of the internet, the world has witnessed the development of a new form of online humor. From hilarious lolcats on Facebook, and videos with talking dogs on Youtube, to viral one-liners on Twitter, we have found new and creative ways to share laughter on the web. Online comics, which are also known as webcomics, are cartoons or comics published on the internet. Sometimes, there isn’t even a hardcopy version, so you can only enjoy them online. In the old days we had to buy comics at the corner store, or flip to the last page of the newspaper. But nowadays, you can spend all day surfing webcomics, if you like. I just love this – it means the beneficial effect of humor on health and wellness has become much more readily accessible for anyone.
